Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher has named Rebecca Jackson, Jonathan Blue and Ronald Butt to the University of Louisville board of trustees.

Fletcher also reappointed Chester J. Porter to the board.

Jackson, the former judge-executive and county clerk of Jefferson County, serves as CEO of the WHAS Crusade for Children. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Louisville.

Blue, chairman and managing director of Blue Equity LLC, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as an alumni career advisor.

Butt is a certified financial planner for ARGI Financial Group. He attended the University of Louisville, and graduated from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, and LaSalle University.

Porter, who will serve as chairman of the board, is a banker and attorney with Porter Bancorp Inc. He graduated from Campbellsville University and the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
