Sección Amarilla USA is the nation’s largest publisher of Spanish language telephone directories. Its Spanish language directories feature advertising from local and national companies that serve the U.S.’s rapidly emerging Hispanic market. Sección Amarilla USA grew from 32 markets to over 60 markets in more than 31 states to become the largest independent publisher of Spanish language telephone directories in the United States. Blue Equity was a joint venture equity partner in Sección Amarilla with Telmex International (Mexico: TELINTA.MX) and ultimately exited its remaining equity stake in late 2009 after selling its remaining shares of the business to Telmex International.
